Amidst the harsh Canadian winter and the city laws that bind us, a man with failed dreams and ambitions is forced to confront the life that he feels he has been deprived of. Handle with Care is a play that looks at our treatment of the homeless population or Canada. Through the tandem use of vocal mask and verbatim text, the play aims to create an empathetic experience that humanizes a population of people that our society tends to ignore.
Set in the streets of downtown Kingston, the play immerses the audience within a familiar setting in the hopes that we reconsider a question that we hear too often, "spare some change today?
