Music Repertoire Workshop

Class Description:

In this workshop, we will discuss ways to find new repertoire, how to
choose repertoire that best suits you, and how to properly cut your music for an audition. We’ll work together to make cuts to three songs to help you build the skills to cut your own music. 

Requirements/Materials Needed: 

This is open to anyone and everyone who has an interest in singing and music! Participants will need a printed copy of the sheet music provided in a dropbox folder, a ruler, a sharpie or black pen (a pencil also works just fine!), a highlighter, tape, and scissors.

Melanie Anne Dreher is an actress and freelance stage manager based out of Cambridge, Ontario. She began training for voice at a young age and became heavily involved in her local theatre community in high school. She attended the Performing Arts Preparation program at Sheridan College in 2016 and is a recent graduate of St. Lawrence College’s Musical Theatre program. She has trained extensively from industry professionals in acting, music for voice, and
dance in both of these programs. Melanie is excited to be a part of the Juvenis Festival thisyear as a workshop leader!
