Workshop Description

This workshop will allow dancers of all levels to explore different components of musical dance while incorporating their own style and dance backgrounds. Ally will be presenting a Musical Theatre workshop incorporating elements of different dance genres and Musicals/musical choreographers while including elements of character and performance.

The workshop will begin with an exploration of different dance technique from iconic musical theatre choreographers as well as some basic technique, and move into learning a musical theatre dance will incorporate the different elements we have learned!

Requirements/Materials Needed

Whether you have never danced before, have dance training, or just love to listen to musical theatre music we can't wait to see you there!

Ally Pajak

Ally Pajak is currently in her fourth year studying Drama and Concurrent Education at Queen’s University. Ally has been dancing since she was 3 years old training as a recreational and competitive dancer in multiple styles such as jazz, ballet, lyrical, and tap, and successfully completed her Advance Level Ballet exam in 2015 through the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (PAECE). Ally has taken workshops from Canadian artists such as Jordan Clark (SYTYCD), in addition to continuing to learn and grow as a dancer through musicals and dance projects.  Ally is passionate about providing youth arts opportunities , and is so excited to be presenting her musical theatre dance workshop.
