In his youth he would take pleasure in developing new designs for paper aircraft, and the interest grew from there. The idea of creating something from almost nothing has inspired him to learn new ways of sculpting with paper. From making flower arrangements to geometric shapes, tesselations, and polyhedra, he loves to spend time with paper, and teaching others how to enjoy origami themselves.
