Workshop Description

This workshop will cover the basics of stage management and how to run a rehearsal process. Come learn about this not-so-scary job and get tools to help you run a show smoothly. You'll learn how to manage actors, make a calendar, and how to write a prompt book.

Lydia Talajic

Lydia Talajic is an Ottawa-based bilingual stage manager and producer. She fell in love with Kingston last summer after working on the Storefront Fringe Festival, and is excited to be back! She was currently hired as the General Manager of the Youth Infringement Theatre Festival in Ottawa. Some favourite credits include: Little One by Hannah Moscovitch (producer and director), Karma Karma Karma Karma Karma Chamedian (Josh Glance at the Ottawa Fringe), and Avant l’archipel (L’irréductible petit peule and Théâtre la Catapulte).
