Workshop Description

Do you have a favourite photo on your Instagram or your phone? Turn one of them into a unique watercolor painting! Even if you don’t have a photo, you will still walk away with a painting of your own. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of watercolor from mixing colors, brushstrokes to creating special effects. You will then make a 6x6 in painting of your chosen photo. Artists of all levels are welcome. Whether you’re experienced or have never painted before, I will help you find the technique to bring your painting to life.

Materials Needed

  • a hard copy photo of your choice. (Preferably 6x6in)
  • an apron or clothing you don’t mind getting stained.

* There are photos provided for you to work with if you don’t have a photo of your own
** You may bring multiple different photos to choose from in case you’re unsure of which one suits your experience level.
