Workshop Description

Learn how to get your audience out of their seats and into the world of your show! This workshop will focus on site-specific and immersive staging, using unconventional spaces for performance, and some tactics, rules and ethics around audience agency in immersive performance. The day will culminate with participants creating their own immersive and site-specific experiences.

Aimee is passionate about education: she is an artist- educator and Ontario Certified Teacher, and has worked across Ontario facilitating drama workshops. She has also worked as an arts administrator with Kingston's Kick & Push Festival, as well as with the education departments of Theatre Direct and Young People’s Theatre, where she currently develops educational programming for young people.
