Description
Hello you, we're thrilled to introduce you to the pottery wheel! Come & take a spin on a pottery wheel and see how you like it! The workshop is lead by an instructor who will help centre the clay and teach you tips & tricks. Make a bowl, tumbler or vase! From the pieces you throw select 1 to have fully finished by our team. Go with the flow of the clay, get muddy and enjoy the experience of throwing on a potter's wheel!
Steve Peckford
Steve joined Amaranth in March of 2022 and his patience, sense of humour and positive attitude have made him a welcomed addition to the teaching roster! Steve thoroughly enjoys teaching and introducing our students to throwing on the wheel. He is always happy to share knowledge and does so in a fun and light-hearted way. When he isn't teaching here, you might find him working in our retail space. If you have ever called us or been to our store, it's very likely that you have spoken with him already!
