The Juvenis Festival

The Juvenis Festival is a project of Blue Canoe Theatrical that began in 2016. Juvenis is Kingston's Youth Arts Festival that showcases the talented #ygkyouth ages 30 and under.


This 10 day-long festival gives young people an opportunity to act, sing, dance, perform, and showcase their artistic talents, as well as take free workshops and masterclasses to build on their interests and skills in the arts. Everyone involved in this festival is under the age of 30, including all paid staff positions and participants.

Love dancing? Didn’t get prom? Want a do-over?

Come dance the night away at our Spring Fling dance on April 6th, 2024 at 7 pm in our new location at 1296 Bath Road!! This is your opportunity to wear that fancy dress you haven’t gotten a chance to wear yet while you dance the night away to all your favourite musical numbers. Or if you’re feeling brave sing them with our karaoke too.

All event proceeds will go towards Kingston’s youth arts festival, The Juvenis Festival.

**Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the night.
