Description

Seeing double? Craft and customize your very own wooden Mini Me character using hand tools
with our guest instructors from the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum!

Note that our Singing with our Friends: Songs from Pinocchio workshop will be going on right after in the Gather Space for participants aged 6-12. Participants will have the opportunity to bring and sing with their newly-created Mini Me.

 
Keely Maddock (she/her)

Keely Maddock is the Assistant Supervisor of Heritage Programs in the Heritage Services department at the City of Kingston. Keely strives to achieve an environment that is stimulating and inclusive. She hopes that visitors feel at home, thrive, and have fun learning. She is passionate about STEAM education, early childhood education, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

 
Turner Douglas (they/them), MSc, OCT

Turner is the City of Kingston's Program Coordinator (Heritage Services). They have a background in archaeology and education, which they bring together to create workshops and events in museums across the city. Turner is passionate about art’s ability to support learning, healing, and self-exploration.
