Ever wanted to see your play performed onstage? Well now is your chance! The Juvenis Festival is currently looking for one-act play submissions for our Play Series event. We look for plays of a variety of genres and subjects, so the sky is the limit! This is a great opportunity for new and emerging playwrights alike to have their work performed.
Requirements
- Applicant must be 13-30 years old
- Play must be written by the applicant
- The play must be under 20 minutes long
- The play must be appropriate (PG13)
- The script must be complete before February 1st

- Select if you would like to direct your play or not. Those who would like to direct their play may be contacted for a short interview.
About the Play Series
After selecting the one-act plays to be part of the Play Series, director hiring will happen as required. Directors will then hold auditions and crew hiring for their productions and begin the rehearsal process. The plays will be performed in succession for an audience during the Juvenis Festival (April 27th-May7th 2022).
This is an in-person event, so those who would like to direct their plays must be in Kingston for the entire process (January-May).
